As I am sure you already know by now, Dell is one of the world’s most respectable and trustworthy computer and laptop manufacturers. We have grown great confidence in Dell laptops and all their product for that matter and we know that some of the largest companies and banks in the United States run using Dell equipment. But what do you do when a manufacturer that you trust sells you a faulty product? Of course, Dell laptopsproblems can never compare to the trouble that HP put its customers through a while back ago with the Pavilion line of laptop that has trouble with the wireless adapters. HP has lost a lot of customers back then and if this would have happened with a smaller company, they would have gone bankrupt by know. The solutions to Dell laptops problems are numerous and they all depend on the kind of problems that you are experiencing with your Dell laptop.

To be honest, I did not notice a pattern in the Dell laptops problems, at least not one which was obvious like in the case of the HP Pavilion dv6000 and dv9000 series. The problems vary: some people have experience trouble with system crashing, others complain about the operating system not working and others had trouble with overheating issues and bad power jacks. But one general thing I noticed and one that could become a big problem is the users complaining about Dell Customer Support. I have come across a number of posts written by people that has trouble with Dell product and experienced even more trouble when picking up the phone and speaking to someone from Dell Customer Support.

The problems were either regarding the shipment of products different from the initial order or even customers that were unhappy with the fact that they were being transferred from one person to another and, in consequence, they had to stay on the phone for hours and explain the same issue over and over again to a lot of different people. The truth is that customer support is a great part of company and it is one aspects that should run impeccably because “the customer is the king” and we never want to leave customers unhappy is we want good recommendations.
